About The Ride

On the weekend of 26th-27th September, Ed will be riding solo in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember.

Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, We’re asking you to join Ed in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the normal group rides have been cancelled this year. As a result, Ed has decided to make a bigger impact by riding the length of the United Kingdom, taking in 1000 miles in 24 hours to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the cause.

With social distancing measures in place, people have been less likely to seek medical help when necessary. As a result the necessary diagnoses of cancer have dropped throughout the UK. We aim to make sure that people remember to get checked for all types of cancer.

We all know at least one person who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and/or a mental health illness, and this is a cause that will be meaningful to everyone.
